On 06.06.23, the lovely Kelin & Lauri contacted me with the desire to come to me to take wedding couple portraits - but in Tartu. The first thing they wrote was how they had noticed another couple's wedding portraits that were taken in a classic white background studio last year, because these were exactly like what they had imagined for their wedding day. And of course, travelling to another city is no problem so I immediately said YES!
Before the wedding day, Kelin and I also made a video call to get to know each other better and talk more about their ideas for their photos and it was so great - we felt right from the start like we were talking to a friend! And of course, that same feeling immediately arose on their special day.
Their wedding day arrived very quickly, which took place on 12.07.23 in Tartu. We were the first to head to the Karramel studio, where we started taking photos. When we got there, I set up the lights, put on some music, and let them curl up, cuddle, and spin a lot! When we finished in the studio, we started heading towards Tartu Õnnepalee. Since there was still a full 45 minutes until registration, we used that time to take some pictures in the lovely park right next to it. We also met their parents there and were able to use the time for family photos and capture their parents' initial reactions.
In any case, the result was wonderful in my opinion, and a big thank you to my lovely bride and groom for their trust!
