Joko & Kaarel | Laulasmaa beach & Padise kastell - Greete Rätsep

02.08.2025. A wonderful day full of celebrating love. Joko & Kaarel found me through their lovely planner team Pulmapiigad and when I found out that they wanted me to capture their special day, I immediately said "YESSS!!".

In order to get to know each other better and hear more about their day, we had a video call and even then I felt that we had such a good vibe – like they are so my people! We kept in touch with Joko before the wedding day and when their big day started to get closer, we sat down again to go over all the last details & their wishes for the day, so that everything would go smoothly on the day of.

The wedding day itself was simply amazing! The ceremony took place right by the sea – the wind, waves and warm summer sun created a truly magical atmosphere. And their vows! Simply beautiful. In order to bring a little solemnity to their ceremony, the guests were asked to write good wishes and thoughts for their marriage on colorful ribbons and tie them around their hands after the ceremony. When all the good wished were handed over, we sent the guests to Padise Kastell and we stayed with the bride and groom in Laulasmaa to take beautiful pictures of them and take a short break. After about an hour of taking their gorgeous portraits by the sea & between the warm pinetree forest, we joined all the guests. The party was full of lovely speeches from loved ones, lots of games, laughter, good food, and late in the evening when I was done photographing their day, of course, there was no shortage of heating up the dance floor!

The whole party and the day were full of wonderful energy – the guests enjoyed the day to the fullest and of course I was so happy to capture it all on camera.
