Most couples tell me, “We’re not used to being photographed — we’re a little camera shy.”

And that’s completely okay!

The truth is, your wedding day isn’t about posing perfectly or performing for the camera — it’s about being fully present, together. My approach as a photographer is always to make you feel something rather than think about what to do.

Here are a few small things that help you relax and enjoy the experience:

Focus on each other. Forget the camera for a moment. Look at your partner, talk, laugh, move — and I’ll quietly capture those natural interactions.

Keep moving. I’ll often guide you into gentle movement — walking, swaying, holding hands. When you move, your energy feels real, your expressions soften, and your connection shines through.

Trust the process. You don’t have to know how to pose — that’s my job. I’ll guide you with small directions and let the rest unfold naturally.

When you allow yourself to be fully present, you’ll forget about the camera completely. And that’s when the magic happens.
